To simplify its light commercial van (LCV) options, Vauxhall says it has reduced its 2023 model combinations by 20% across its Combo, Movano, and Vivaro series. The manufacturer believes the new simplified trim structure should offer customers a clearer choice between vehicles, and with improved technology across all series, the entire lineup of chassis cabs, crew vans, and panel vans delivers more amenities and advanced safety features. The fully electric Vauxhall LCV models are now named Combo Electric, Movano Electric, and Vivaro Electric. Vauxhall also introduced a sport GS trim level for its Vivaro and Vivaro Electric medium vans.

    New Trim Levels

For 2023, Vauxhall is eliminating the Dynamic, Sportive, Elite, and Edition trims for the LCV lines and replacing them with Prime and Pro variants. Prime models feature touchscreen displays as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Vauxhall Connect is also available on Combo and Vivaro Prime models, adding access to navigation service, remote control options, and road safety alerts. Movano models are only available in the Prime trim and include navigation. Pro models include a rearview camera and Vauxhall’s FlexCargo load-through bulkhead, along with navigation. Vauxhall also offers Cargo, Design, Safety, and Worksite Packs of options designed to outfit the LCVs to customer’s needs.

    Vivaro GS Trim

The sporty GS trim, available on Vivaro and Vivaro Electric medium vans, features a new lip spoiler creating a sharper front profile, and the side skirts of the Vivaro GS range feature integrated mud guards near the 18-inch black alloy wheels and high-load-capacity tyres. There’s also a two-piece spoiler at the rear of the GS trim, improving stability when unladen.

“The GS offers something very unique to LCV buyers,” says Adam Wood, marketing director, Vauxhall. “With unique looks and interior updates, it not only stands out on the road, but also maintains the practicality and versatility the Vivaro is known for.”

The new Vivaro Electric GS features a 75-kilowatt-hour battery that gives the van a range of 304 kilometres (189 miles) and is available exclusively in the Panel Van configuration. Maximum payload on the Vivaro Electric GS is 1,000 kilograms (2,205 pounds) and the maximum load volume is 5.8 cubic metres (205 cubic feet).
