Broshius can trace its history back to 1885. The Dutch company first made horse-driven carriages and later converted Ford Model-T cars into lorries. The firm as we know it today was born when they made their first trailer in 1929. Throughout the 1930s, the firm continued to specialise in trailers and their growing expertise resulted in the first central boom trailer and a burgeoning business.
That expertise is reflected in some of the outstanding accomplishments Broshius has achieved over the years. These include the launch of the first extendible trailer in 1958 and the first semi low loader in 1965.
The innovations just keep on coming from Broshius. They invented the triple trailer in 1999 and the triple wing in 2000. The first combined trailer chassis, the 2CONnect, came along in 2003. Today the company offers a comprehensive range of low loaders, semi low loaders, container chassis, platform trailers and SL Trailers.

The applications for Broshius trailers are wide and varied. Your will find them in earth-moving operations, yacht and windmill transportation and specialist forklift transportation work. The company also makes long heavy vehicle (LHV) trailers and specialist trailers for the transport of heavy civil engineering plant and defence assets.
There is no doubt that Broshius knows its stuff. The company makes custom trailers for specific client applications and the range of units available is exceptional. The management at Broshius believes that the secret to quality lies in attention to detail, and this philosophy is totally borne out in the robust nature of their trailers, which makes a Broshius trailer a good second-hand buy.
