The Narva 7 Pin Flat 'Quickfit' Trailer Socket with Reed Switch for use with Normally Closed is a 7-pin trailer connector with a robust body that provides a weatherproof and vibration-resistant electrical link between the tow vehicle and trailer, supporting running lights, indicators, brake lights, reverse lights, and auxiliary power. Built for vehicles with reversing sensors, these sockets incorporates an integrated reed switch that disables the sensors when a trailer is connected. This prevents repeated sensor alerts that detect the nearby trailer. The reed switch disconnects the reverse sensor once the socket lid is opened for plug connection.
