Hino Trucks For Sale

2 Average
Rating

Hino’s mission is to deliver better trucks through superior engineering – something they’ve been largely successful at for a number of years, and especially since the manufacturer was bought out by Toyota in 2001.

Hino is the market leader when it comes to medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks in Japan, and with good reason. With the Toyota Group free to focus on more lightweight vehicles, Hino has managed to design and build a range of durable trucks that are ideal for large loads and long haulage.

The trucks exported to the UK by Hino are relatively no frills, and are fairly competitive on price. There are more advanced trucks out there, such as those produced by Scania, whose trucks Hino imports for sale in Japan; however there aren’t many manufacturers that sell such reliable trucks so cheaply.

Find out more about which of the Hino trucks for sale on TruckLocator.co.uk is suitable for your business.

Still headquartered in Japan, Hino has a well-deserved reputation for innovation, and much like many of the manufacturers with trucks for sale on TruckLocator.co.uk, Hino can claim to have some part in the development of diesel trucks.

Hino is also a leading manufacturer of buses and coaches in its native Japan, once again leaving its owners Toyota to take care of smaller, more commercial markets. However Hino does produce some smaller Toyota-badged vehicles on commission, such as the Land Cruiser Prado; Dyna trucks (essentially a Hino 300), and Toyoace commercial vehicles.

One of the benefits offered by Hino trucks is an unusually inviting interior. The cabs might not look like much from the outside, but are comfortable and make good use of space. For small businesses trying to keep down operating costs, the Japanese manufacturer is a solid choice.

Which Hino is right for me?

Hino 300

The Hino 300 is also known as the Dutro, and shares most of its DNA with the Toyota Dyna and Toyoace. It is much lighter than the 700, and is suitable for shorter journeys. However, the 300 received a revamp in 2011, and an improved engine also made the truck suitable for mid-range haulage.

Hino 700

Known as the Profia in Japanese markets (previously the Super Dolphin Profia), the Hino 700 is a heavy duty cab over truck made for long haulage. The range has been available since 1981, and although it’s received a few facelifts, the 700 is ideal for anyone who wants a tried and tested heavyweight truck.
