Renault Trucks Simulator Gets New Rally Raid Environment

There’s a new environment in Renault’s free iOS and Android Renault Trucks Simulator game that gives players a glimpse of what it’s like to drive a Renault Trucks K520 in a rally raid event. You can drive the truck, which does indeed take part in the annual Dakar and Silk Way rallies, through five levels of increasing difficulty, and can then share your scores on social media to see how you stand up to the competition.

The initial five levels are all single player, but after you finish the fifth one, you’ll unlock the ability to play against four other people in the new environment. You can choose between interior and exterior views, and you can select a control scheme, opting either to use your mobile device like a steering wheel or control the truck with a joystick.

Renault Trucks recently added a new environment to its driving simulator app that lets you experience the thrill of driving a K520 in a rally raid event. (Image courtesy of Renault.)

    More Ways To Play

In addition to the new rally raid environment in the Renault Trucks Simulator app, there are four others available to give players a bit of variety. Two levels take place in construction environments where you drive a Renault Trucks C on a general worksite or you can get behind the wheel of a Renault Trucks K in a mine with the ultimate goal of not dropping the load as you navigate through a series of obstacles.

The game also offers a long-distance environment where you want to get from point A to point B as quickly as possible but must obey all traffic laws and not consume too much fuel. The fourth environment is a distribution simulator; you operate a Renault Trucks D and deliver goods in an urban setting, again while ensuring that you obey traffic laws and respect the other drivers around you. The new update to the free app is available now and is playable in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.

After you finish a level, you’ll get a score, which you can then share on social media. After you finish all five levels versus the AI, you graduate to competing against four other players. (Image courtesy of Renault.)

When you’re done driving virtual Renault trucks, you can find a wide range of actual, nearly new ones for sale every day on TruckLocator.co.uk.
