Dropside trucks are relatively cheap to buy and with aluminium sides give the operator a lightweight body to maximise payload, whilst keeping loads safely on board. Used for local deliveries and builder’s merchant work, you will often see a dropside used in combination with an onboard crane to help loading of aggregates and heavy machinery.
