It is available in two,
three or four-axle configurations, in single or double drive format. In the new CF series, the company has enhanced the performance on every front, improving its durability, reliability and economy with a new range of PACCAR GR, PR and MX engine ranges.
The MX in particular is the highest rated engine in the ‘medium’ cab sector, delivering up to 510hp. The GR and MX engines also come with larger engine capacities delivering more power and torque whilst reducing fuel consumption. Not only that, DAF has also incorporated new DAF SCR technology to comply with Euro 4 and 5 emissions levels.
So much for performance. What else has changed? On the outside, the CF Series
now offers optional high performance xenon headlamps and new cat’s eye combination lamps. Meanwhile on the inside, by repositioning the AS-Tronic gearbox controls on the dashboard and steering column, the floor is left clear, making the sleeping compartment easier to access.
The steering wheel has integrated illuminated switches, giving finger-tip control for everything from cruise control to the downhill speed limiter.
The new CF Series is also available with automatic temperature control for ultimate
driving comfort, and connection options for a hands-free mobile. The subtly redesigned cab interior incorporates new colourways, which are practical as well as good looking - designed to keep the CF’s famously spacious cab smart and neat with specially darkened areas where it is most likely to get marked.
DAF have managed to further improve the cab’s comfort and practicality - already a winner with drivers.
The new modern lightweight chassis design means the CF Series is still a bodybuilder’s dream - and easily adaptable, whatever your requirement.
